Greater Noctule bat (Nyctalus lasiopterus), is a unique types of bat. With a wingspan of 45 centimeters, it has the distinction of being the largest bat in Europe.
Greater Noctule bat also has a unique way of feeding. In spring and summer, he is feeding on insects, while in autumn he is hunting migratory birds. During winter, he is asleep (hibernating).
