Zuma Fact: #170: Lorin Maazel!

Lorin Maazel (born in 1930), the famous American conductor, was a child prodigy. 
 
Maazel began to study conducting when he was seven years old.  
 
At the age of eight, he made his debut by conducting an orchestra.  
 
When he was eleven, he already conducted NBC Symphony Orchestra.
