Zsa Zsa Gabor (1919), American actress of Hungarian origin (also known for being crowned as Miss Hungary in 1936 and for having nine husbands) was convicted in 1989 for slapping the face of a police officer named Paul Kramer when he stopped her for a traffic violation in Beverly Hills.

What did the court ruled for this former beauty and sex symbol?

To spend three days in jail and to enter her real date of birth in her identity documents.

The later was because, in her documents,  Zsa Zsa Gabor listed that she was born a quarter-century later that she really was.

Hail to Italy and their Miss Cicciona!

Have you ever heard of Italian Miss Cicciona contest? Probably not. Cicciona in English means chubby and Italians are organizing this beauty contest since 1989.

This year’s Miss Cicciona is Angela Scognamiglio from Naples. She is 33 years old and her body weight is an amazing 172 kilograms. She won in a tough competition of 30 women. The contest was held in a village called Forcoli, in Tuscany.

To be eligible for participating in this contest, women have to weigh more than 100 kilograms. Age is irrelevant. If you thought that the winner is receiving some big prize or something similar, then you are wrong. Miss Cicciona is receiving only a huge cake, which she always shares around.

To bad there aren’t more contests of this kind. This is definitely a very good way for boosting self-esteem of chubby people in contrast to the mockery that many of them face every day.
