In 1962, French geologist Michel Siffre (1939) spent two months in a dark cave in the Alps, without clock, calendar or sun, to study what would happen to his sense of time. When he got out of there, he thought that it was August 20, but in fact, it was September 14.
Somehow he'd lost 25 days.
