Zuma Fact: #51: The first personal computer!

The first personal computer (PC) was made in January 1975 by the company MITS from New Mexico. It cost 439 U.S. dollars, and buyers had to assembled it themselves since it was shipped from the company as a build-it-yourself kit. It was called Altair 8800.
